WTA instructors are former technicians and engineers with decades of real-world fleet experience. They understand how technicians learn, how they troubleshoot, and what skills they need to progress in their careers. Our curriculum is designed around technician-focused, tech-driven training that supports career development, improves diagnostic accuracy, and strengthens long-term retention.

WTA helps organizations prepare their teams to service the next generation of light-, medium-, and heavy-duty fleet vehicles, including electric buses, utility trucks, transit vehicles, school buses, and alternative-fuel equipment. Our training programs improve technician readiness, reduce vehicle downtime, support regulatory compliance, and enhance overall fleet performance.

Modern fleet vehicles rely on advanced electronic systems and complex propulsion technologies. Gasoline, diesel, and CNG platforms now operate alongside growing numbers of hybrid, propane, and plug-in electric (EV) fleet vehicles. This rapid shift has created a critical industry need for skilled fleet technicians who can diagnose, maintain, and repair today’s high-tech vehicles. To keep transportation operations efficient and compliant, technicians must be trained to service modern engine control systems, high-voltage EV components, ADAS systems, and digital communication networks.

Workforce Training Associates provides industry-leading fleet technician training that prepares automotive, medium-duty, and heavy-duty technicians for the technologies driving today’s fleets. Our programs cover electrical systems diagnostics, high-voltage EV safety training, hybrid vehicle systems, ADAS calibration, hydraulics, engine performance and control systems, EVSE service and maintenance, CAN bus and telematics, and alternative-fuel vehicle technologies. Every course is built around hands-on learning and real diagnostic practice, ensuring technicians gain practical, repeatable skills they can use immediately in the field.

Strengthen your fleet workforce and prepare technicians for the future of vehicle maintenance with WTA’s advanced technician training solutions.
